While swapping holiday movie recommendations amongst ourselves, we looked around and said — why aren’t we sharing this with the world! Our criterion for the list was simple: What’s your favorite movie to watch this time of year, holiday-themed or otherwise?
With the stage set, we wish you a very Happy New Year in 2022 from all of us at Imprint — and some cozy film-watching in the meantime:
Harry Potter (series)

“I love holiday movies (hello, ‘Elf’), but the Big Lewbowski has oddly become a holiday tradition that I share with my sister. “When I was a kid in Puerto Rico, ‘Star Wars’ would always play during the holidays so now I associate sci-fi with the season. I’m re-watching ‘The Mandalorian’ right now.” – Hanibal Negron, Director
Love Actually

Fight Club
“My family has a tradition of getting together to watch one non-holiday movie this time a year. Whether it’s ‘Fight Club,’ ‘Olympus Has Fallen,’ or ‘Beetljuice,’ we always find something that has nothing to do with the holiday season! Peewee’s Playhouse Christmas Special

Elf
“Both ‘Elf’ and ‘Home Alone’ are regular viewing traditions in our house. Peter Dinklage as the cranky children’s book author in a pre-GoT role is an ‘Elf’ highlight. And the kid delivering the pizza who goes from blasé to terrified in 3 seconds thanks to Kevin’s clever use of old movie clips makes me laugh out loud every time.” – Meg Sullivan, Managing Director
The Family Stone
